Reseach and experiences show that even short implementations projects have high uncertainty and success is challenged. Main problem - a lot of companies approach to risk management is insufficient

REKOMENDACIJA | RECOMMENDATION

• AGREE ON RISK MODEL: Choose and develop the risk management model of the innovation project and create clear procedures for each employee.

• MAKE IT SIMPLE: Risk management methods should be chosen by employees competencies. Avoid excessive actions that generate small benefits.

• ASSESS AND PILOT: At the beginning of the innovation project, evaluate and test the main technology which will be used in the developed product, analize potential risks.

• ESTABLISH RISK REGISTER WITH HISTORICAL DATA: Collect and document risk management data of implemented innovation projects (emerged risks, response plans, lessons learned) and use it in future innovation projects.

• TRAIN /COACH/MENTOR:Continuously improve risk management knowledge and competencies.

• ENSURE COMMUNICATION: Ensure continuous communication throughout the innovation project to all stakeholders.

• EMPOWER ROLES TEAMWORK: Team work of PMO, Risk Managers and Board of Directors are important on risk identification, decision making and follow-up
